Clarifications on vote
May i know the logic behind the functionality of voting. Are we going to be judged only based on votes or people's comments and reviews will also be considered to some extent? ]
What are the features you have to restrict a BOT or an script written from having fake users and in turn fake number of votes.
How will i come to know how many votes i have got and how much more can make my team win?
Anybody up here, then kindly answer my questions..

Yeah, cheating ain't cool. Wanting to know how many people have voted for your app as well as for the other apps looks fishy to me though. It's like trying to see how many more votes you need to produce in any way possible to win that competition.
But I'd also love to know how many people were voting for our app as everybody that has seen it loves it. Compared to my competitor, I'm more than okay to see the result after the votes have been counted.

One more thing... I've also noticed that the user pallavikaranth34 who opened this discussion has no apps in his or her portfolio. Is this a fake account as well? -.^

Thanks for the questions. In regard to the vote count, we take voting fraud very seriously and actually use a number of manual and automated processes to vet votes for eligibility at the end of the public voting period. The vote counts are purposefully not public. Making them public would allow people to see who is in the lead, and would tell submitters how much "catch up" they need to do in order to become the crowd favorite - thus encouraging cheating.

thanks @ AppsChallengeAdmin for the reply.
i certainly understand the purpose of not making the no of vote feature public but was just curious about what are you guys doing to avoid bots and cheaters and for votes for each app.. i believe the contestants will get to know the no of votes they got at least after the vote counts finishes.
