King Abdullah Port Live Ship Tracker
Check out a live view of the ships utilizing the new King Abdullah Port
The International Maritime Organization (IMO) requires all vessels over 299GT to carry an AIS (Automatic Identification System) transponder on board, which transmits their position, speed and course, among some other static information, such as vessel’s name, dimensions and voyage details. The King Abdullah Port Live Ship tracking map displays this AIS data in real time. Citizens and Port officials can use this map to visualize port activity, and retrieve information with regards to which ships are visiting their city.

It's nice ! I have seen many maps like this but many of these (like for example: http://www.vesselfinder.com or http://www.marinetraffic.org/) are seem not to be displaying vessels in Red Sea region concentrating mainly on other regions. Only around 40% of the online marine maps I saw were actually displaying full info including Saudi Arabia areas. So good work !
